Training and Consultation

As a funded CoE site, an important part of our mission is to serve as a resource for local, state, and federal public health professionals who respond to foodborne illness outbreaks. We can provide training, assistance, or technical support for epidemiology, laboratory, and environmental health.

We are open to your ideas of how we can best serve as a resource for you, and will tailor our services to meet your needs.

We can help with formal in-person trainings, a quick question via phone call/email, or anything in between!

Examples of how we can work together:

Virtual Tableau demonstration – 2022
On-site workshop for a local jurisdiction – 2016

“Instructors were very good, length of training was good – very interactive”.

"Everyone has said that the training was extremely helpful and that they greatly enjoyed how the material was presented and discussed.”

Informal real-time outbreak consultations

We love to chat about any outbreak where you could use an extra sounding board.  Contact us to arrange an online consultation.
